Joshua Campbell Obituary
Jackson, AL - Joshua Mack Campbell, 37, went to be with the Lord and his grandparents in heaven due to a sudden natural passing Saturday, April 23, 2016.
He was born October 6, 1978 in Muncie. Josh was a graduate of Cowan High School, class of 1997.
He was currently employed as a welder by Systems Corporation, out of Kentucky. Prior to that, he was employed by Indiana Bridge, Progress Rail, and CSX Railways.
Josh was a patient, caring, fun loving free soul. He would've done anything for anybody. He was a man of many talents and interests. He was an Eagle Scout, an amateur genealogist, proficient scuba diver, volunteer fireman, a member of Monroe Township Conservation Club, paramedic, and a member of the Armed Forces. Josh was also Communications Director and Historian for Daleville American Legion Riders 446. He loved his girls, fishing, hunting, karate, shooting, riding his motorcycle, and his HUGE extended family!
Joshua is survived by his two beautiful, beloved daughters, Mackayla and Audrey Campbell, Eaton; his girlfriend, Stacy Robinson, Muncie; parents, George Campbell, Muncie, and Susan and Steve Smith, Muncie; grandmothers, Novella Cronin and Joann Hicks, Muncie; three siblings, Rick Smith (Mandy), Union City, Wendy Wright, Muncie, and Sarah House, Muncie; uncle Mike and Aunt Jan Cronin, Montana; uncle Mark and Aunt Debbie Cronin, Pennsylvania; uncle Mike and Aunt Rechel Campbell, Muncie; a whole host of nieces, nephews, and cousins will greatly miss him as well.
Josh was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jack Cronin and Gene Campbell, and his grandmother, Barbara Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2016 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, with Pastors Kent Stookey and Robert Kellems officiating. Burial will follow in Tomlinson Cemetery.
Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2016 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel.
