Scott Williams Obituary
Muncie - Scott E. Williams was born March 4, 1964 to James E. and Henrietta Williams in Muncie, Indiana. He departed this life unexpectedly, Saturday, March 10, 2018 at IU Health Ball Memorial with his family at his side.
Known to many as Scotty, S-Dub and of course Scott Williams, Muncie, Indiana, he attended local schools including Ball State University where he was a member of Phi Beta Sigma fraternity and was employed by Dana Corporation for 25 years.
He leaves to celebrate his memory his loving wife; Deretha Williams, four sons; Stavon Williams, Nashville, TN; Gilbert Hill (Jalesia), Darren Hill, both of Muncie, IN and Jourdan Dugan, Indianapolis, IN; two daughters; Nakisha Shelton, Anderson, IN and Connie Jones (Brandon) of Muncie, IN; his mother; Henrietta Williams, brothers; Steve (Roxie) Williams, Kansas City, MO and Jeff (Deb) Williams and one sister; Jama (Bill) McIntosh all of Muncie, IN. He also leaves 19 grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son; Scott Williams, Jr., his father; James E. Williams and grandparents; Elsworth and Nellie Williams, Cleo Sawyer and Claudia Moore.
Services to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Destiny Christian Center, 5000 East Centennial, Muncie, Indiana with calling hours from 9:00-11:00 prior to the service. Services entrusted to Gholar and Gholar.
