I only met Hope Smith one time when bringing her flowers from Shandon Baptist Church. I was so impressed by her. Very sharpe mind to be 91 years old. She was even crocheting. She seemed content with her life. She was such a sweetheart. I only regret not having to sit and talk to her again. I was even more so impressed with her sister, Eliza, and the care she gave to her sister. Having been a caregiver myself, I know the sacrifice she made for her sister. She told me that she wouldn't be anywhere else than taking care of her sister. Bless you, Eliza and the family.
