Beth Warren Obituary

Beth Hahn Warren

January 6, 1959 - May 27, 2025

Lexington, South Carolina - Beth Hahn Warren, 66, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2025, aboard the Disney Dream while sailing in the Bahamas - one of her favorite places - doing what she loved most: spending time with family and making lasting memories.

Born in Illinois on January 6, 1959, Beth grew up in Stamford, Connecticut, before eventually settling in the Atlanta area and later making her home in Lexington, South Carolina. It was there she lovingly raised her two children and built a life grounded in faith, friendship, and family.

She is survived by her beloved brother, Bill Hahn (Sally); her devoted children, John L. Warren III (Kaylynn) and Jennifer W. Gallo (Tyler); and her greatest joys - her grandchildren, Brewer, Scarlet, and Raley.

Beth had a passion for helping others experience the world. She began her career at State Travel in Columbia, planning dream vacations for others, and later joined State Credit Union, where she was a dedicated and respected employee for 26 years. Outside of work, Beth was a faithful member of Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church, where she found deep community and lifelong friendships.

Known for her kindness, warmth, and boundless love, Beth brought joy wherever she went. Her giving spirit and unwavering devotion to family and friends will be remembered always.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church in West Columbia, SC. All who knew and loved Beth are welcome to attend.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to MSA Hospice and South Carolina Oncology Associates for their exceptional care, compassion, and support throughout Beth's journey.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Beth's memory by sharing a kind word, a warm hug, or planning a special moment with the ones you love - just as she would have wanted.

Beth was the most sweetest and compassionate person. I worked with her at SC State Credit Union. Our birthdays were two days apart. Hers on the 6th and mine on the 8th. We always emailed each other on our special day. There was never a time that she was ever not professional in her role in HR. My condolences to her family. Her son, daughter, grandchildren and brother. Beth will be truly missed. Rest in Paradise my friend.

Beth was a ray of sunshine! I worked with her at the SC State Credit Union. She was great at her role in HR. Her personality & professionalism was top notch. I would run into her at the Mexican restaurant from time to time. She would always stop & speak. I was happy for her when she quit to enjoy her family she loved so much. She wanted to make those lasting memories and that she did! Cruise on my dear friend among the angels. You will be missed but not forgotten!

My Condolences to Mrs. Beth's family as she was the sweetest. I worked with her at the SC State Credit Union, although we probably never ran into each other due to working in different cities, anytime I needed to call her she was right there and always a pleasure to speak with you.

Beth was always one of the sweetest and kindest people I knew. We may have only lived in Connecticut for two years, but the Hahn´s have been family since then. I always appreciated that she kept in contact with with my folks both before and after her parents passed on. Truly a testament to the wonderful woman she was. Hugs and prayers to her loved ones as I know she will be sorely missed.

Beth was such a good friend and a strong woman. I have such good memories of our monthly lunches before COVID. We had a great time catching up with our family happenings and exploring Greenville and Newberry or wherever we met. She was a treasure and I will miss her.

Johnny Warren and family, Tyler and Jennifer Warren Gallo, precious Grands and Family. Sending prayers, love and healing hugs to each.
Mt Hebron United Methodist Church is where we met Beth and her dear family. Over the years in Sunday school & PAT MORROW CIRCLE, watching Beth be a blessing to many was a great experience. So many of us have memories of her laugh, matter of fact perspective, life gave her lemons and she made the best lemonade Even on her journey with Cancer she always placed her best foot forward.
Peace came to Beth, enjoying a cruise, watching the ocean, Gods beautiful sunsets with Tyler, Jennifer and precious Grandchildren.
Life is short, Beth you left a great legacy to your family. Peaceful rest dear Beth.

I have know the Hahn´s since my early childhood-sports, holidays, vacations. Beth was in my wedding and our parents went on many many cruises together. Beth was always smiling-even when she was in pain. I had the opportunity to meet her beautiful daughter, Jennifer, her son-in-law, Tyler, and babysit for her first grandchild, Brewer! She loved her family with all her heart. I will miss my friend and the times we talked and texted each other. Rest now my friend and enjoy the angels that surround you. Love you
