Mr. Bouknight was an avid lover of country music and enjoyed the fellowship of friends and family.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret R. Bouknight; daughter and son-in-law, Marie Waldrop (Michael); son and daughter-in-law, James Bouknight (Ellen); four grandchildren, Devin and Danielle Waldrop, Patrick Cummings and Mikala Bouknight; brother, Willard Bouknight and his sister, Emma Monts. Mr. Bouknight was predeceased by a brother, Fred Bouknight.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 15, 2008, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church Tuesday, December 16, 2008, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
