Rebecca Loadholt Obituary
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2010, at 11:00 a.m at All Saints Lutheran Church, 2107 N. Highway 17, Mt. Pleasant, SC, with fellowship to follow in the parish hall. Rebecca retired as an administrative assistant from the Carolina One office on Coleman Boulevard. During her employment there, she made many lasting friendships with her coworkers. She was a member at All Saints Lutheran Church in Mt. Pleasant, SC, and enjoyed working on the monthly newsletter.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frederick H. Plott Jr.
Surviving are her husband of 30 years, Herbert Moore Loadholt Jr.; her son, Troy William Loadholt (Stephanie) of Lexington, SC, her daughter, Starr Loadholt Freedman (Brian) of Charleston, SC; her mother, Dorothy Inabinet Dempster (Jack) of Anderson, SC; her sister, Gail Walters (Ken) of Anderson, SC; her beloved grandchildren, Myles Christopher Loadholt, Max Loadholt Freedman, Lauren Ashley Loadholt, and Sybil Adrienne Freedman. She also leaves behind many other family members and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rebecca's name to Newberry College, Loadholt/Ashe Scolarship Fund, 2100 College Street, Newberry, SC 29108, or Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, team name: Friends and Family of Becky Loadholt, race.komenlowcountry.org.

Chris E-mailed the letter from synod about your wife, Becky. I am truly sorry. There is no way to lessen the sorrow of losing someone so precious to you but please remember that many others care very much and wish you strength and comfort at this sad time. Herb & Family - We are so very sad to know that we will not be seeing Becky's beautiful, smiling face --- at least, nor for awhile. We know she suffered so very much, as you have as well. That her pain is over is reason to rejoice. That one day, we will all stand in the throne room of the Almighty, is a cause for celebration. Until then, our hearts hurt and our eyes tear. Herbert, although I did not know Becky personally, I felt a connection to her through you. I am grateful for the opportunity we had to talk last month when our WELCA group was at the Coastal Retreat Center. I only knew Becky for a short period of time, we were coworkers before I moved out of state. She made such a lasting impression on me, she was so smart, kind, funny, straightforward, loving and giving. She constantly spoke of her husband Herbert, her kids and her precious grandchildren. I miss her laugh and our occassional lunch dates. Because of the impression she made on me, I can't even imagine the joy she spread to the ones she held most dear. You will be missed Becky!
