Normand Cloutier Obituary

Normand J Cloutier, a lifelong resident of North Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 29, 2022, at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center at the age of 96. He was born on April 21, 1926, at home in North Attleboro, to the late J. Donat and Ludovique (Precourt) Cloutier.

Normand, a US Army veteran, served in the Asiatic Pacific Campaign during WW II. He spent most of his career as an electrician at Texas Instruments, in Attleboro, until his retirement. Upon retirement he and Georgette purchased an RV traveling to many campgrounds from the east coast to as far away as Alaska. They both enjoyed traveling from Massachusetts to Florida in the winter as well. They also took trips with Normand's brothers and sisters-in-law to various Caribbean Islands. He was a life-long member of Sacred Heart Church.

Normand is survived by his dedicated and loving wife of 70 years Georgette (Mador) Cloutier; son Robert (Patricia) Cloutier of Canandaigua, New York; 4 grandchildren, Melissa (Russell) James, Amy (Nicholas) Beyrle, Paul Cloutier and Daniel Cloutier; 7 great-grandchildren Fiona, Norah and Roan James, Emelia and Graham Beyrle, Zacharie and Sydney Cloutier; a dear brother Paul (Virginia) Cloutier, of Plainville; a very special niece, Patricia (Michael) Walsh, of Franklin; special grand-niece and grand-nephew Shannon and Ryan Walsh; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters Flora (Mona), infant Blanche, Rita (Dargis), Alice (LeClair), Doris (Mayer), and cousin Jackie (Lemire) Boucher; and brothers Raymond, Leo, Albert, and Roger.

Visitation will be held at the Sperry McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro, Monday, September 12, from 8:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary's Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Donations in Normand's name may be made to your local Alzheimer's Association or HopeHealth Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
