Robert Furlong Obituary

Robert Edward Furlong, age 66, of Attleboro, passed away peacefully at Rhode Island Hospital on Friday, March 12, 2021. He was the son of the late John and Barbara (Manning) Furlong of Franklin, MA.

Bob was born on October 11, 1954 in Boston. A licensed journeyman plumber, he worked for the State of Massachusetts for over 38 years. He was a saltwater and freshwater sportsman. He enjoyed camping, fishing and hiking. He loved animals, especially dogs. He loved traveling throughout New England. Bob most enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Loving husband of Susan (Barron) Furlong. Devoted father of Robert A. Furlong of Pawtucket, RI, Jennifer Touray of Newton, Ste fanie Furlong of Attleboro and Rachael Furlong of WA, Loving grandfather of Kelsey, Haley, and Jake. Bob was one of twelve siblings.
