After Carole and Ken were married and their children were young, they moved to Irvine, California, where they lived for 40+ years. Carole and Ken were founding members of Liberty Baptist Church, Newport Beach, CA, where she was the church pianist and an active member for many years. Carole was a legal assistant and after her retirement in 2003, moved with the family to Jerseyville, where many relatives resided.
Surviving are her husband Kenneth Fallin of Jerseyville; one daughter, Elizabeth Ann Fallin Smilack; one son, Todd Melvin Fallin; and one grandson, Jared Taylor Smilack, all of Jerseyville. Also surviving are her brother and sister-in-law, David and Bonnie Sharp of Valparaiso, Indiana; brother-in-law and wife, Bill and Debbie Fallin of Jerseyville; sister-in-law and husband, Julia and Lee Norrgard of Reston Virginia; sister-in-law and husband, Roxie and Sid Gresham of Jerseyville; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
