(nee Hoehn) Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Tuesday, November 21, 2023.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph John Vitale, dear daughter of the late George O. Hoehn and the late Geneva Hoehn (nee Narup), dear sister of Sandra J. (the late Butch) Vacca and the late Judy Ann (the late Edward) Benecke, dear sister-in-law of John L. (Trudie) Vitale, dear aunt of seven, and great-aunt of fourteen.
Carole attended Marquette High School and soon after became a bank teller in Alton, Illinois and Ferguson, Missouri. After marrying Joseph Vitale, the two of them ran a financial advising firm for many years. Carole enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
Services: Visitation and funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 4 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1115 S. Florissant Rd., St. Louis, MO 63121. Visitation at 9:30 a.m. with the Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. Interment Jefferson Barracks Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Vincent DePaul Society appreciated.
