Daniel Trask Obituary
DANIEL 'DANNY' TRASK SR.
JERSEYVILLE — Daniel Lee "Danny" Trask Sr., 66, died at 7:20 a.m. Monday, August 17, 2015, at Willow Rose Nursing & Rehab Center in Jerseyville.
He was born June 1, 1949, in St. Louis, son of Ralph Trask Sr. and Zelma (Branham) Trask-Jackson, both deceased.
He married Nancy (Yaeger) Terpening June 13, 1997 in Jerseyville.
He worked at Laclede Steel and later at Senior Service Plus. He was a avid Harley Davidson motorcycle rider.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Trask; children, Kellie Hodge of Jerseyville, Danny Trask Jr. of Wood River, Jason and Mandy Terpening of Bunker Hill, and Lauri and Brian Waters of Bunker Hill; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren;
sisters, Judy Harmon of Steelville, Mo., Jackie and Terry Derbin of Medora, Ill., and Jeannie and Gene Buck of Fidelity, Ill.; brothers, Brad Trask of Alton and Roger and Wannetta Trask of Jerseyville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ralph Trask Jr., and sister, Sue Trask.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, August 20, 2015, at Alexander & Gubser Funeral Home, with 8 p.m. prayer service. Rev. Sonny Renken will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to the family.
Alexander & Gubser Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
