Barbara (Horan) Caviston died peacefully in her home Dec. 16, 2020, in New Port Richey, Fla., at the age of 80. Barbara is survived by her husband, Tony; children, Toni Wasp of Lutz, Fla.; Robert Caviston and wife, Tracy, of Harrisburg, Pa.; Mark Caviston and wife, Beth, of Montoursville, Pa.; William Caviston and wife, Brenda, of Harleysville, Pa.; and Sean Caviston and wife, Kelly, of Richboro, Pa. She has 11 grandchildren who were her pride and joy.
Barbara was born in Carbondale, Pa., to the late Florence (Jones) Horan and Patrick Horan. She graduated from Ben Franklin High School in 1958 and married her husband of 62 years shortly thereafter. Barbara and Tony celebrated their 60th anniversary in July 2018 with a family party in Trinity, Fla., that Barbara described as one of the happiest days in her life.
A memorial is planned for spring 2021 in Carbondale. Donations may be made in her name to St. Vincent de Paul Society or the charity of your choice.
