Thomas J. "Ozzy" Osborne, 60, of Seminole, Fla., formerly of Browndale, died Aug. 22 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. His wife of 41 years is the former Debra Yestrepsky.
Born in Carbondale, he was the son of Patronella Osborne and the late John T. Osborne. He was a graduate of Western Wayne High School and was self-employed as a motorcycle mechanic, which was his passion.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed his family, friends and especially his granddaughter, Evlynn. Tom was an avid motorcycle rider and enjoyed motorcycle races and traveling. He had the gift of gab and could make anyone smile. He was adored by his fur buddy, Ginger.
He is survived by his son, Thomas and wife, Joselyn; granddaughter, Evlynn; stepgranddaughter, Kyleigh, Vandling; sister, Patricia Richards and husband, David, Salisbury, Maryland; brother, John and wife, Cathy, Carbondale; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephew; mother-in-law, Rosalie Opeka.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie; and his father, John.
A memorial service will take place at a later date.
