Edward H. Boddy

Edward H. Boddy Port Huron Township Edward H. Boddy, age 63 of Port Huron Township died November 22, 2011 in St. Joseph Mercy Hospital after a short illness. He was born November 5, 1948 in Brown City to Raymond E. and Betty R. Boddy, and lived in the Blue Water Area most of his life. He worked as Supervisor of Special Services for the St. Clair County Road Commission, and recently retired. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, B.P.O.E. #343. Ed was an avid golfer, enjoyed photography, and fixing anything mechanical. Tinkering was his favorite pastime. He is survived by 3 children, Sherry (Terry) Moore, Jeffery (Dawn) Boddy, and Katherine Boddy; 10 grandchildren, David, Brandi, Justin, Samantha, Andrew, Zachary, Kaleigh, Matthew, Amanda, and Sammi; his mother, Betty Miller; a sister, Ruth Sauder; and brothers, Tom and John Boddy. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Boddy, and a son, David Edward Boddy. In accordance with Ed's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 12 noon Saturday at the Elk's Lodge. The family will receive visitors beginning at 11 a.m. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
