Jean Hannan Obituary
Sarnia
Jean Valetta (nee McGregor) Hannan, of Sarnia went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the age 91.
She was the beloved wife of 60 years to the late Cecil Howard Hannan (2008); loving mother of Douglas Hannan and his wife Wave of Fort Gratiot, Mich., Ronald Hannan and his wife Sharon of Sarnia, Donna Prendergast and her husband Roy of Sarnia and Marlene Hilliard of Sarasota, Florida; cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Tom) Lenon, Jeremy Hannan, Jeffrey Hannan, Gordon (Elizabeth) Hannan, Philip (Stephanie) Prendergast, Beverly (Domenic) Ruso, Heather (Andrew) Fess, Marlene (Peter) Maddocks, Sherrie (Tanner) Sheppard, Jim (Adrienne) Klages and Katie Ellis and 22 great-grandchildren; dear sister of Audrey Wark of Sarnia; and sister-in-law of Mildred Miller, Frances McBride, William (Kathy) Hannan all of Windsor. Predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Lela McGregor and her sister Rev. Vivian Brown.
Jean was a 70 year member of Bethel Pentecostal Church and she will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Family and friends will be received at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Tuesday April 19, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 1:00 p. m. at Bethel Pentecostal Church, 1565 London Line, Sarnia. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to NeighbourLink Sarnia/Lambton. (cheques only at the funeral home please).
