As Sams' best friend, I spent a lot of time in Bob and Betty's household. Stamps, coins, and collections became the childhood imprint I have kept for 50 years. On rare occasions Bob would share a brief glimpse of his treasures with us, showing such devotion and dedication to what we knew was more than just a hobby to him. One never knows what makes a valued memory for a child. Don't be sad for yourselves; cherish your memories. How blessed you "kids" are to have had him healthy for such a long time.
