Mrs. Sheryl Whitt Daniel, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 peacefully at home surrounded by family. She was the daughter of the late Osbin W. Whitt and Hazel Puckett Whitt and was married for over 40 years to Jack Daniel.

Sheryl retired from Alamance Regional Medical Center after more than 15 years of service. She was a devoted listener of Rev. Charles Stanley and was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens and spending time with her family.

Sheryl is survived by her husband, Jack; children, Cynthia Crozier, Sheila Childers, Larry "Buddy" Crumpler, Sherry White (Robert), Dawn Daniel and Sylvia Peters (David). 14 grandchildren, Dusty Wheely, Chelsea Burton, Casey Crozier, Devin Crozier; Michael Patrum; Brittany, Dillon, and Dustin Crumpler; Justin and Lacie Lamm; Robbie Rhodes, Mack Fender; Heather Page, DJ Wrenn, Caroline and David Peters and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Larry Whitt and grandchildren, Brent and Cedric Burton.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Sheila would like to offer a special "thank you" to her siblings for their loving care and support during mom's illness.
