Funeral services celebrating the life of Barbara Deville will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 11, 2016 at New Hope Free Methodist Church, Deville with Reverend Mike Marbut and Reverend Emitte Belgard officiating. Burial will be in Big Island Memorial Garden, Deville under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria.

The family requests that visitation be observed at the Church Wednesday, February 10, 2016 beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Mrs. Deville, 86, of Deville, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at her residence.

Mrs. Deville was a member of New Hope Free Methodist Church, Deville and she enjoyed attending with her family and friends. She was an avid gardener and loved working with flowers and quilting. Her family and friends will miss her dearly but her memory will forever be in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Deville; parents, Jack and Agnes Anderson Jones; 1 granddaughter and 1 great granddaughter; brothers, Ralph "Buddy Boy" Jones and James Jones and sister, Marie Belgard.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, David Deville and wife, Nell, Jerry Deville and Jeff Deville; daughters, Gloria Hall and husband, Clyde, Shirley Beaubouef and husband, Richard and Tracy Deville; sisters, Edith Dauzart and Jackie Autin; 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Chad Deville, Kyle Beaubouef, Jeremy Deville, Albert Murray, Brace Blackmon and Ryan Carper.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to La Lions Eye Foundation, 2020 Gravier Street #B, New Orleans, LA 70112.
