Michael Turner Obituary
Services for Michael W. Turner will be at 1 pm on January 18, 2014 at Mt. Herman Baptist Church 9151 Hwy 1 North of Boyce with the Rev. Mose Roland officiating. Burial will be in 1st Evening Star Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Boyce Community Funeral Home.
Mr. Turner passed away January 10, 2014 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.
Survivors include one son DeMichael Liggins; brothers Melvin Turner, Arthur Turner and Onzie Turner; sisters Debbie Thompson, MeLinda Jones and Angela Issac-Thirs.
Wake services will be on January 17, 2014 at 6 pm at New Scott Olly Baptist Church.
Friends may call Boyce Community Funeral Home.

Michael will be missed, he truly loved the Lord and loved singing praises unto the Lord. The songwriter wrote, that if you miss me from singing down here and you can't find me no where come on up to bright glory I'll be singing up there. Please know that Michael will be singing in the choir with his mother and father. Cling to the many fond memories.

It saddens me to read that Michael passed away. I taught Michael's son, DeMichael in kindergarten and I can remember that Michael was very involved with the education and activities of his son. I pray for all the family and loved ones during this time of sorrow.

To the Family i'm sorry for your loss mike and i worked together at matthew nursing home we had so much fun he was always a person that kept you laughing he walked around singing all day he really uplifted me everyday, he will be truly missed but now he ca walk around heaven all day singing.R.I.P Mike your friend Vickie
