Steve Gaspard Obituary
Funeral services for Steve Francis Gaspard, Sr. will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marksville. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2 Mausoleum. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Mr. Gaspard, age 77, of Marksville, passed away at the Grace Home in Alexandria on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Gaspard, daughter, Rhonda Cunningham, parents, Amet and Jervinia Gaspard, brothers, Chester, Elster, Bobby and John Gaspard and Son-in-law, Tony Grundy.
He is survived by 1 son, Steve Gaspard, Jr. (Twylla Dauzat) of Marksville, 2 daughters, Bonnie Ponthier (Tom) of Marksville, Bobbie Jo Grundy (Mark Desselle) of Marksville, 2 sisters, Lucille Ducote of Zachary, Hilda Matthews of Joplin, Missouri 7 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will take place in the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Marksville on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 pm resuming on Sunday from 8:00 a.m. until shortly before service time.
A Christian wake service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday evening.
