Vesta Robson Obituary
Funeral services for Vesta Robson will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the Evergreen United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kemper Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Bayou Rouge Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mrs. Robson, age 79 of Evergreen, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Grace Home in Alexandria.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Clebert and Eunice Stelly Roy; a sister, Lena Roy Reeves; three brothers, Lewis Roy, Freddie Roy, and Alton Roy.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Marvin Robson of Evergreen; one son, Danny Robson of New Orleans; two daughters, Brenda Reason and husband Wade of Bunkie, and Gwen Cormier and husband Bradley of Hessmer; one sister, Anna Lee Ortego of Busch, LA; seven grandchildren, Chad Reason, Rebecca Breaux, Stephanie Dauzat, Lindsey Floris, Nicole Monk, Brooke Hidalgo and Lance Cormier; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will include; Chad Reason, Tom Breaux, Kevin Monk, Jarred Floris, Bradley Dauzat, Lance Cormier and Collin Hidalgo.
Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie and 8:30 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the Evergreen United Methodist Church in Evergreen.
