Christopher Leiber Obituary
Christopher M. Leiber, 36, of Happy Valley Road, Westerly, died at his home following a battle with cancer.
He was born in Flushing, Queens, New York, the son of John and Marian Leiber of Westerly.
He was a Westerly High School graduate, class of 2006. Christopher had been previously employed by Walmart.
In addition to his parents, he leaves behind his sister Christina Leiber (Johnny); and his partner of twelve years, Lauren Cosenza. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-6pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce Street, Westerly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Thursday, Dec. 19th at Immaculate Conception Church, 111 High St., Westerly. There is no procession to church from the funeral home. Chris and I grew up together since we were kids. Making each other laugh made our school years fun. Years ago we used to have fun bowling every week. I love those memories. I will always remember you and our graduation day in 2006.
