James Grainger Obituary

James Paul "Jamie" Grainger, of Narrow Lane, Charlestown, passed away at the Westerly Hospital on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at the age of 75.
Born in Tewksbury, MA, he was the son of the late Anne and Dr. Henry Grainger.
Jamie was employed as a newspaper carrier and was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, music and spending time with his family.
He leaves his siblings, John Grainger, II and his wife Gail of White River Jct., VT, Cathy Craig of Charlestown, Matthew R. Grainger and his wife Joanne of Cape Coral, FL, and eight nieces and nephews, Maryanne Daly-Doran, Keelin Petrone, Brendan Daly, Christopher Craig, Caitlin Rogers, Bonnie Craig, John Grainger III, and Dana Parmenter. Jamie was predeceased by his sister Jane B. Daly, and brothers-in-law, William Daly and Ralph Craig.
Jamie's family would like to thank all of his loyal customers for their support and encouragement.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 2pm on Friday, April 26th at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. Burial is private.
