Dear Jennifer, Rob, Tom,Tracy, Andy & Danny,
I am saddened by the loss of your father. I have been visiting my parents this week and you have all been in my thoughts and prayers so often. Growing up as the next door neighbor , your father and all of you are etched into so many of my fond childhood memories of Juniper Drive. In recent years, your father would sometimes pass me on his bike when I was on my morning run, and he always inspired me by his continued athleticism. Keep the good memories close and please know that there are many who care about you. Sending my love and prayers your way,
Carol Collings-Haney

I am heartbroken to hear about the unexpected death of Mr Perrin. He and all of the Perrin kids were an important part of my childhood and going home to Ashaway and seeing the changes that come with time was always easier knowing that he continued to be a part of the neighborhood and town. My deepest condolences to Jen, Rob, Tom, Tracy, Andy and Danny and their families. May you be comforted by all of the memories you share of him and the knowledge that his love of nature and sense of humor affected so many people. Although I have lived in NYC for over 20 years I still visit my parents in Ashaway often and love to go barefoot on Juniper Drive. I remember well Bob laughing at me (somewhat relieved perhaps that some things never change) .. and he said you can take the girl out of the country but you can't take the country out of the girl. Sending all my love to the family - Sue Risio Marchal

Sorry to hear this. I grew up a few doors down. I remember boiling down maple syrup out back, flying squirrels, and a pet crow named Pepsi. And when he rang that bell all the kids went running home.Good memories. All though I only knew him from childhood,he was an old school, hardworking and well respected man. My condolences to the Perrin family.

Uncle Bob was a very loving and caring uncle. He taught us a great deal about the outdoors while camping at Burlingame during our childhood.
