The Rev. Robert Reuss Obituary
Father Reuss was an Episcopal Priest for 61 years, retiring in 1994. He served St. John's Church in Huntington, Long Island, NY, Christ Church in Westerly, RI and St. David's in Cranston, RI. In retirement, he served congregations in NC, GA, TN and Venice, FL.
Father Reuss is survived by his wife, The Rev. Patricia Reuss; brother Walter Mitchell (Bonnie) of Gloversville, NY; daughters Rebecca Reuss of Boston, MA and Eleanor McKenna or Rhode Island; 2 granddaughters; Cousin Andrew Donovan of Pittsford, NY; and beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew C. Reuss and Jessie Reuss Mitchell; brother Ronald Reuss; and sister Barbara Benzenberg.
A memorial service will be held at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Venice on Monday, August 9th at 11 am.
Memorial contributions should be directed to the St. Mark's Episcopal Church or the Episcopal Relief and Development Fund.

I remember Father Reuss as a youngster attending Christ Church in Westerly RI back in the 60´s. He and Father Annand were truly wonderful people whom I looked up to. I sang in the choir back then and always looked forward to seeing and speaking with Father Reuss and listening to his sermons. It seems so long ago. My heart goes out to his family. I know he will be greatly missed. God bless you all and God bless you Father Reuss. Thank you for being a role model and for the fond memories.
