Lynn Locke Obituary
1964 - 2017
Lynn McClain Locke, 52, born December 10, 1964 in Columbus, OH, passed away July 16, 2017. A 1982 graduate of Eastmoor High School, she earned a bachelor's degree in Urban Administration from the University of Cincinnati and was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Lynn most recently resided in Grand Rapids, MI where she was employed as the Advocacy Program Manager at Disability Advocates, and served on the Board of Directors for Campfire Girls. Survived by daughters, Randi and Morgan Locke; mother Jean Barber; stepfather William Barber; siblings, Rodney, Karen, and Carmen McClain; former husband Randolph Locke; stepson Aaron Wright; and a host of other relatives and dear friends. Celebration of Life 10 a.m., Saturday, July 22, 2017 at St. Dominic Church, 453 N. 20th St., where her family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the start of service. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to: Disability Advocates of Kent County, 3600 Camelot Drive, SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546.
