Hosea Clark Obituary

Mr. Hosea Irvin Clark, age 87, of Forrest City, died at his home on Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024.
Mr. Clark was born May 13, 1936, in Forrest City. He was the son of Hosea Lamar Clark and Mamie Victoria Douglas Clark. He had made his home in Forrest City all of his life and had been a service man for Zero Gas and Thermagas. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church. He enjoyed tinkering with several things including his garden and tractor, and liked to draw.
Mr. Clark married Betty Sue Hatcher in 1965 and she preceded him in death in 2019.
He is survived by a son, Michael Clark and wife, Kylie, of Colt; two daughters, Michelle Rice and husband, Steven, of Palestine, and Sharon Raines and husband, Dale, of Palestine; a sister, Allie Mae Vasquez of Phoenix and a brother Tommy Clark of Forrest City. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Courtney Rice, Bailey Rice, Hailey Mitchusson, Jackson Grant, Lexi Clark and Ryker Clark, and a great-grandchild, Zoey Mitchusson.
Visitation was held Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Stevens Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held Sunday, March 3, 2024, at 2 p.m., at Stevens Funeral Home, followed by burial at Forrest Park Cemetery.
