Ken will be so missed in the legal community and beyond. Ken was my absolute favorite attorney to get to work with. His positive and fun attitude, kindness, and humor always left me smiling and feeling happier than before I had spoken with him. He truly, truly cared about his clients and his passion for helping them never waned. My condolences to his family, staff, and all of the many people who were fortunate to get to have him in their lives.

I can't even begin to imagine what a huge loss this is to the whole North Coast. Ken Collins was an amazing attorney who helped so many people get their disability benefits. My condolences to the family and to the whole community in Humboldt and Del Norte counties.

My thanks to Ken for his work with the many disabled people getting them on Social Security Disability and SSI. It takes a special person to serve the poor. Ken did that as an attorney.

My sincere condolences to the family and to everyone who cares about/for Mr. Collins.
I really admired his devotion to his work and to his clients. He kept working till last few days of his life. He declined to be on disability multiple times and he insisted on continuing to work as people are depending on him. He is a very honorable man. He will be deeply missed.

I immediately feel a large hole of emptiness upon reading Ken's name in the T-S Obituaries. I first met Ken when he approached the City of Eureka to site the Discovery Museum in the old Winship Junior High wing of the Eureka Municipal Auditorium. Ken was dedicated to make our community a community. He has left a very large, and I deeply sigh, a very large void in our world.

I'm so very sorry to hear of the passing of Ken. I was one of the many he fought so very hard for, for me to get what I worked for 40 years for, so I would have something if disability happened.
My condolences to his family. I am forever in his, and his office members, debt.
RIP Mr. Collins!

Ken was a constant pillar in service to our community and a smiling hero. I feel shock that he left us so early. And I am grateful for his influence and touch on so many wonderful people and places.

I'm so sad to see Ken has left us. I had the honor to meet him a couple years ago when he asked me to do some repairs on his house and later, on his office. He confided that he had cancer and was preparing by getting his life in order. Ken charmed me by his wit and upbeat attitude, and by his music. He shared several CD's he'd made and written all the songs himself, some that were wonderful and will live on as others play them. We also watched him play live at Lawnstock. He was a supporter for the less fortunate and his memory will live on in many hearts
