Carl, Leanna & Karla, I just learned of Kristi's passing this morning and I'm stunned and saddened. I remember her as "Karla's big sister", very fashionable and always kind, even when she was warning us that we'd better ____ (clean up/do chores/whatever)before mom and dad got home. Love and prayers to you all.

Carl and Leanna

I just heard the very sad news about Kristi. I'm terribly sorry for the two of you, Karla, and the rest of Kristi's family. I lost track of her many years ago, but I will always have fond memories of her. She was such a sweet girl, so I'm not surprised that she became a great mother, wife, and friend to many. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Carl & Leanna,
I am so sorry to hear about your Kristi. My heart pours out to you. I knew Kristi all through Jacoby Creek & high school. She was always a friend to everyone...I have great memories of her with Belinda & Myrna, too..they were always smiling & full of laughter. I remember going to one of her birthday parties. After high school, she hired me at Evies..where I worked throughout my HSU years. I connected with her again when I lived in the Sacramento area...I visited her when she was working at the GAP. She was living in Rocklin and excited about her life. She was truly a bright light, and she will continue to shine!! Much Love to ALL xoxo Beckie Alder Sorter

I was so saddened when I heard this news. So many things are going though my mind...why?, what happened?, what was her life like since I last heard about her? These events leave me a bit dismayed about the meaning of life and its equity. But I understand that I am not supposed to have the answers to these questions, so I am trying to remember the years when the girls (Mryna, Belinda and Kristy) were friends and doing activities. I remember being recruited to make a Snow White dress for Kristy (fitting) that probably didn't turn out too well. Fortunately, I sew better these days. But what I remember from those times about Kristy was pure white skin, and a beautiful smile. I am so sorry for your loss, which is always much harder for the people left.

Carl, Leanna, Steve, Maddie, Katie, Karla and families,
We are so very saddened to learn that Kristi's life, like so many others who are called too young, has come to an end. Cancer is an evil disease. We are sure that she was borne into Paradise by the angels, as she was always an angel herself. YOU have lost your beautiful and talented daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend; but you will always find her in the faces and souls of Maddie and Katie. Speak to her often in the quiet...or in the tumult of your hearts. But.... celebrate all the best of Kristi always; and remember all that is dear, funny and poignant about her. Light a candle at your table every night to celebrate all that shone about her. Look for her love and her influence everyday around you, for she will be there, watching over you all. Surely her goodness, compassion and intelligence was needed somewhere else in this Universe for a great cause. She will guide you onto new pathways of life that will emerge for you when the time is right. Live for HER and always strive to make her proud of you still. You know she did not go without giving survival her all; and her love will surround you always. What else can one say in the face of such a loss? Choose Life.... that she may live through you all. With our love, The Hadley-Taylor Families: Marilee Hadley Taylor(Bruce-Salyer, CA), Megan Hadley Miller(Gil-Portland), Heather Hadley Blank (Mike, Bryan and Gus-McMinnville, OR) and Ryan Hadley(Elizabeth-Anderson, CA).

I'm so very saddened to hear of Kristi's passing. Although I haven't seen her for many years, I went to high school with Kristi and I have very fond memories of her. She was truely one of the sweetest people I have ever known. She was gentle and kind, never saying anything negative about anyone. I will be praying for her family and friends.
