Michael P. "Bobo" Beaudin

BARRE TOWN - A largely attended Mass of Christian Burial and celebration of life for Michael P. Beaudin, 48, of Cedar Street, was held on Thursday, June 23, 2016, at 11 a.m. in St. Monica Catholic Church in Barre. He passed away on June 17, 2016.
The concelebrated Mass was led by Rev. William Beaudin, uncle of the deceased and pastor of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church of Middlebury, Vermont, assisted by Rev. Peter O'Leary, pastor of St. Monica Catholic Church and Monsignor Reid C. Mayo, former pastor of the church.
Crucifer Lawrence Reilly was altar server and led the Prayer of the Faithful.
Organist and vocalist Rosmary Badeau accompanied special soloist Jared Felch, cousin of the deceased, in the hymns, "How Great Thou Art," "The Lord Is My Shepherd," "Allelulia," "Be Still My Soul," "Song of Farewell" and "Amazing Grace." Soloist Jared Felch sang "Ave Maria."
Scripture readings from the Old Testament were read by Renee Hotaling, cousin, and Ron Beaudin, uncle, read Scriptures from the New Testament.
Father Beaudin read the Gospel and delivered the homily.
Words of remembrance were shared by Steve Violette and Jeff Cook, both good friends.
Offertory gifts were presented at the altar by Baylee Boucher, Camden Boucher and Sydney Jarvis, all friends.
Bearers were Steve Violette, Keith Boucher, Jeff Cook and Mike Jarvis, all friends.
A prayer service was held with the family Wednesday evening at the Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home in Barre and was led by Father O'Leary.
Burial followed the Mass in St. Sylvester Cemetery in Lower Websterville, Vermont, where Father Beaudin read the committal prayers.
Following the burial, family and friends gathered at the Barre Elks Lodge #1535 for a time of sharing memories and luncheon.
Arrangements were in the care of the Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home, 58 Summer St., Barre.
