It´s been almost 12 years and to the day I miss him even though I was so young at the time I still miss him to this day and I can look at pictures of when he was over I really wish I had more memories with him he´s so inspiring to everyone he had the best mentality I can see him up there still racing and being with his family and we´ll see you soon Jordan I promise to represent the number 9 ride in paridice jordan love you lots

Well Jordan it has been a year now and let me tell you there are a ton of people that miss you! Your dad and I met finally at the Jordan memorial race and a lot of riders came out to ride and remember you! I shared the time with your dad that my son Christopher a.k.a BOOBOO had some issues with the pedals on his bike and how you made sure he raced and you switched out your pedals between yours and his races just so he could race. I believe your dad was proud to hear how you were that great of a person to go thru that for someone he even told me that was so nice to hear. My boys as many others were very upset and had tons of questions of why and I didn't have answers for them. You were with my boys the day before at Greeley indoors playing hacky sack and that is another memory we all hold on to. Ride in paradise Jordan but always know we think of you and your family all the time!!!!!!

Jordan - our family thinks about you everyday. You are missed so much. Winter national is coming and last year you stayed with us. It was such a pleasure. Madison and I went to the movies " safe haven" there was a twist at the end that brought tears to my eyes. Thought of you right by my side everyday all day. Love you, miss you Mom Butcher

It has been almost 4 months since u left us and it feels as if it were yesterday. For me i feel the pain is growing not weakening. I feel ur presence often and u have saved me and the kids from some severe accidents in which 1 could have taken my children from me. I thank god for letting me be an aunt to u though after u got to traveling with BMX i hardly got to see u but its ok u were doing what u loved. U made us all proud! U always tried to make it to the kids' birthdays and they loved to climb all over u and wrestle u! Last time i got to see u was at the baby shower for katherine and chris and i didn't get to spend alot of time with u because i had something i had to do and was in a hurry. If i would have known that was the last time i would see u i would have stayed. Please continue to look over us i love u always and forever. And when u were 4 u put ur arms around mine and kristas necks and called us ur 2 grills well we will always be.

i never met Jordan,,, but am a long time friend of Jamilyn Kane,,,I lost my brother when he was just 14 and although i dont know how you feel,, i know what you are going through, I wish i could tell you it's going to be alright,,,, I can tell you that it will get easier to remember the good times without being overcome by sadness... hold on to each other,,, it will help you all... good luck and god bless.

Dear family of Jordan,
I wasn't really that close to Jordan since 4th grade, but I knew he was a great guy and a great friend. He was very caring and made an impact on anyone who knew him. I'm very sorry about your loss and I hope you pull through. Always know that Jordan is always watching over you. Ride in paradise, Jordan. You will forever be in our memory.

Jordan was my neighbor. He was always smiling or waved hi. Most polite, respectful young man I've met. Gone before his time. I'll miss him growing up, as a neighbor and as a really good person. Be at peace Jordan.

My mom got this when her brother passed away and it gave our family comfort so I wanted to share it with Jordan's family and friends. I will miss you!
A Letter From Heaven To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say. But first I need to let you know that I arrived ok. I'm writing this from Heaven, where I dwell with God above. Where there are no more tears or sadness, just eternal love. Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight, remember that I'm with you every morning, noon, and night. That day I had to leave you, when my life on earth was through, God picked me up and hugged me, and said "I welcome you!" It's good to have you back again, you were missed while you were gone, as for your dearest family, they'll be here later on. Then God gave me a list of things he wished for me to do, and foremost on the list is to watch and care for you. I will be beside you every day, week, and year. And when you're sad I'm standing there to wipe away that tear. When you think of my life, and all those living years, there's bound to be some tears. Please don't be afraid to cry, it does releive the pain. Remember there would be no flowers unless there was some rain. I wish I could tell you all that God had planned, but if I were to tell you, you would not understand. But one thing is for certain, though my life on Earth is no more, I am closer to you now than I ever was before. There are rocky roads ahead of us, and many hills to climb, but together we can do it taking one step at a time. So when you are walking down the street and you have me on your mind, I am walking in your footsteps only half a step behind. When you feel a gentle breeze or the wind upon your face, that's me giving you a great big hug, or just a soft embrace. And when it's time for you to go from that body to be free, remember you're not going.....simply coming home to me!

Jordan was a GREAT young man and he was there anytime my boys needed help!!!! My family will always hold a special place in their hearts for him!!!! My son's always looked up to him!!!!
