Annie Carman

August 19, 1931 - May 25, 2025

Annie Warren Chambers Carman, 93, born to Annie and Joseph Chambers on August 19, 1931, in Dinwiddie, VA., went to be with the Lord May 25, 2025. She graduated Dinwiddie High School where she played basketball and softball. Afterwards attended MCV graduating as an x-ray technician and resided in Lakeside for 70 years. Married to Leo Carman, Sr., for 41 years, he preceded her in death on November 24, 2020. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Sue Ramsay (Charles); granddaughter, Emily Potter (Logan); grandson, Eric Martin (Daniella); great-grandson, Hudson Martin; and great-granddaughter, Emma Jo Martin.

A graveside service will be held at Blandford Cemetery at 1 p.m., Saturday May 31, 2025. Services are under the direction of the Chesterfield Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home. 14301 Ashbrook Pkwy, Chesterfield VA. 23832. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.

I am so sorry for your loss. I grew up on Ginter St and lived 2 doors down. She was a wonderful neighbor and I loved her very much. Heartfelt prayers to you and your family.
