Bassem Maasry Obituary

Bassem Fouad Maasry, 37, of Midlothian, Va., died Friday, June 13, 2003. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Connie; his children, Kelsey and Ryan; his parents, Fouad and Souad Maasry; his brother, Kamal Maasry; his sister, Hiba Sbahg; ten nieces, five nephews, and a loving extended family in his native Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2003 at Epiphany Catholic Church located at 11000 Smoketree Drive in Richmond. Family will receive friends at Woody Funeral Homes’ Huguenot Chapel located at 1020 Huguenot Road in Richmond on Thursday, June 19, 2003 from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made at any First Union Bank in the account named Kelsey and Ryan Maasry Education Fund or can be mailed to First Union Harbour Pointe Financial Center, 13505 Harbour Pointe Parkway, Midlothian, Virginia 23112.

We are deeply saddened at the recent passing of Bassem. We want you to know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of our family, but also in those families involved in the recent student exchange, both from SCES and EABJM. Please let any of us know if you need anything.
