Carolyn A. Evans

EVANS, Carolyn A., was a caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all she came in contact with. She left this world suddenly on Saturday February 12, 2022. Carolyn was a strong, hardworking woman whose number one priority was always her family. While she would stop at nothing to help a member of her family, she also prided herself on being a kind and caring person who was always ready to help anyone in need. She spent years volunteering to help the handicapped and was often seen helping the homeless and otherwise needy when should could. She loved to be outside and was always very active. Her true passions were crafting in any fashion. She spent many years as an active member of garden clubs and won many awards for her designs. She loved more than anything spending time on the farm working and interacting with the alpacas. She prided herself in taking good care of these beautiful creatures. She loved working with the fleece to create beautiful products for people to purchase and enjoy. She especially loved meeting all the people who came out to tour the farm or attend one of the many events. Her legacy of love and compassion will live on in all the lives she touched throughout her life. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Bliley's, 8510 Staples Mill Road, where a Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. Interment will be in Westhampton Memorial Park.
