Charles Meredith Obituary

Charles "Charlie" Edward Meredith I, 51, of Richmond, departed this life December 27, 2002. He is survived by his devoted wife, Geneva Meredith; four sons and daughters-in-law, Darrell and Michelle Hawkins, Robert and LaQuanda Rutledge, Casey and Mary Meredith, Marlon and Leatrice Meredith; eight grandchildren; loving mother, Elaine Burton and her husband, Morris Burton; two brothers, Ronald and Marvin Meredith; five sisters, Faye Carter, Janice Wooten, Jacqueline Jones, Freida James, and Sheila Kumar; two aunts, Catherine and Betty Meredith; three uncles, Leonard Carter, Junius Meredith, and John Henry Jones; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; two devoted, Vernon Tillman and David Goodson. Remains rest at the Chiles Funeral Home, 2100 Fairmount Ave., where funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, 2 p.m. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
