Clifton Louis "Cliff" Holley

HOLLEY, Clifton "Cliff" Louis, 86, of Richmond, Va., went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2023. He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Gladys E. Holley; daughters, Sissy B. Owens, Robbie B. Williams (Ronnie), Karen J. Stevens and Susan Lynn Holley; son, Michael Wayne Elliott; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Ellen Jenkins (Raymond); good friends, Steve and Jill Stuart. Originally from Blacksburg, Va., Cliff worked as a residential painter for over 60 years. He loved to hunt and fish, and could strike up a conversation with anyone he met. Above all, he loved his family, and was truly an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Bliley's, 8510 Staples Mill Road. A celebration of his life will follow there 9:30 a.m., Friday, May 5, 2023.
