Delbert Colley Obituary
Wayne met the love of his life, Karen when they were in high school, they married the year they graduated and have been married for 48 yrs. They loved visiting and vacationing at the OBX. They have 2 sons and six grandsons.
Wayne is proceeded in death by his parents Howard and Peggy Colley.
Wayne is survived by his wife Karen, his sons Brian (Cassie) and Erik (Lacey). His grandsons Mason, Parker, Aiden, Jaden, Carter, and Camden. His sister Brenda (Rob), and brother Barry (Christine).
Wayne was a lifetime fan of Dale Earnhardt. A day didn't go by that he wasn't wearing a #3 hat.
He was a gentle soul and would do anything to help others. He was greatly loved and will be truly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday August 23rd 1-4 p.m. at the Tuckahoe Moose Family Center at 4366 Springfield Rd. in Glen Allen.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Wayne's memory to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) at NAMI.org" target="_new" rel="nofollow">NAMI.org.

Wayne was a quiet neighbor, friendly and especially dog friendly. I enjoyed seeing him on his daily walks with Dixie and saw him recently with the new pups. We shared a love for thick and well-maintained fescue. Our sincere condolences to Karen and the rest of the family. Kevin & Peggy

Wayne never made an enemy in his life. He loved his family and friends and he loved to laugh. My kids called him Uncle, old school friends called him Kimo, I called him brother.
