Devin Wayne Samuels

SAMUELS, Devin Wayne, with deepest sorrow, we announce that Devin Wayne Samuels, 21, our most beloved son, brother, family member and friend, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021. Devin was a proud graduate from New Kent High School and was a utility equipment operator with Mastec Utilities. He attended New Kent Christian Center and was a member of the HKZ – High Kingz Truck Club. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Barbara Samuels and Woody "Papa" Samuels; and his pet, Odie Dog. Devin will be missed everyday by his parents, Wayne and Michelle Samuels; his very special sister, Brinley Samuels; grandparents, Alan and Becky Williamson and Sandy Samuels; uncle and aunt, Mike and Angie Kelly; cousins, Austin and Landon Kelly; his fishing buddy "Uncle Wayne"; the HKZ and other truck clubs, along with a host of family on both the Samuels and Williamson sides and many, many, friends. Friends will be received Thursday, May 6, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, May 7, at 11:30 a.m. at New Kent Christian Center, 9660 Tunstall Road, New Kent, Va. 23124.
