Doris F. Petro

PETRO, Doris F., 85, of Richmond, formerly of Markham, Illinois, and widow of John G. Petro, went to be with the Lord January 28, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her loving brother, Elgin Corzine. She is survived by her two children, whom she shared the past 13 years with, John W. Petro and his wife, Ruth, of Doswell, Va., and Susan Bauer of Richmond; two grandchildren, Eric Bauer of San Antonio, Texas, and Adam Bauer of Tacoma, Wash.; and great-grandson, Camden Bauer of Easton, Md. She was retired from Ingalls Hospital as an administrative assistant after 20 years of service. She was a kind and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 Parham Rd., where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Services and burial will follow in Homewood, Illinois.
