Genevieve Atkins Glazebrook

GLAZEBROOK, Genevieve Atkins, 89, of Aylett, VA died July 2, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius Overton

Glazebrook, her parents, Luther and Lou Atkins; her sister, Christine

Beasley, her brothers, Clyde, Warner, Grover, and Ben Atkins. She is

survived by one son, Clyde Glazebrook of Aylett, three daughters,

Rose Rice (Ricky) of Aylett, Marilyn Birchall (Chris) of Glen Allen,

Linda Walton (Jeff) of King William; seven grandchildren: Derek

Gault (Stephanie) of Terrell, NC, Jeremy Rice (Maggie) of Midlothian,

Mark Rice (Ariel) of Aylett, Brandon Glazebrook (Sarah), Lisa

Darlington (Nick), Philip Walton (Shannon), Luke Walton all of King

William; eleven great-grandchildren, Madison, Tristan, and Cameron

Gault, Tori Glazebrook, Amber and Alexis Darlington, Sydney and

Dylan Rice, Cooper and Avalee Walton, Talula Rice, and numerous

nieces, nephews, and friends. She was a long time member of

Colosse Baptist Church. Visitation will be held at B. W. White

Funeral Home in Aylett, Va. on Tuesday, July 5 from 6 to 8 p.m.;

services will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at 2 p.m. with

visitation one hour before service at the church. Interment in church

cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Colosse

Baptist Church New Building Debt Reduction Fund.
