Hannah Newell Obituary
Filled with the Holy Spirit, Hannah was loving, giving and acting always in the interests of others. Blessed with an incandescent smile and endearing charm, she was an accomplished and enthusiastic dancer, intrepid sailor, faith-filled Christian, proud and protective matriarch of her loving family and dear circle of neighbors and friends.
Hannah courageously faced her trial with Alzheimer's Dementia that took her mind, but could not defeat her indomitable spirit. In her lyrical Georgia/Texas accent, her very last words to her family, 'I Love You All' will live on in our hearts. We dearly love and miss her.
Hannah's family wishes to acknowledge the loving care of Hannah provided by Tyhe, Jessica and Karla of Anderson's Cozy Home and by At Home Care Hospice during her last days. A Celebration of Hannah's Life will be scheduled at Liberty Live Church in Hampton, Virginia in the Spring of 2023. In lieu of flowers, Hannah's family suggests memorials to Liberty Live Church, 1021 Big Bethel Road, Hampton, Va. 23666 or at Libertylive.church, or to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C., or at alz.org. Online condolences to the family can be shared at www.bucktroutfuneralhome.net.
