Hustler Hobson Gravitt

Hustler Hobson Gravitt, age 75, of 2052 E. Hyco Rd., South Boston, Va., died Monday, May 8, 2006. Surviving are his wife, Bessie Talley Gravitt of the home; children, Mitzi Gravitt Hawkins, Paul Gravitt and wife, Eugenia and Joel Gravitt and wife, Lindsay, all of Richmond; mother, Bertha L. Gravitt of Virgilina, Va.; sister, Betty Ann Drury of Georgia; brothers, Arthur Gravitt and wife, Mary Ann of South Boston and William D. Gravitt and wife, Mary Frances, of Richmond; and by five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Hustler Addison Gravitt and his son, Dennis R. Gravitt. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Shady Grove United Methodist Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
