Jacqueline Rollat "Jackie" Labar
January 16, 1930 - January 9, 2026
Jacqueline Rollat Labar "Jackie", passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026. Raised in Hackensack, New Jersey, Jackie lived a life defined by devotion to her family, service to her community, and a deep appreciation for friendship, creativity, and tradition.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, George Harry Labar; her son, Adam Rollat Labar and his wife, Wendy; her daughter, Noelle Labar Hague and her husband, Leigh; and her cherished grandchildren, Taylor Hux and her husband Hunter, Abby Labar, Christian Hague, Collin Labar, and Anna Labar. She was also the proud great-grandmother of Blythe Hux, who brought her great joy. Jackie was a loving wife, mother, Nene, and Great Grand Nene, roles she treasured above all else.
Jackie was a graduate of Lasell College, where she remained actively involved throughout her life. She served as a member of the Alumnae, the Board of Overseers, and the Annual Fund Special Gifts Committee, reflecting her enduring commitment to the institution. Professionally, she enjoyed a successful career in retail sales.
Jackie was very involved in her church and community. She faithfully served on the Altar Guild at The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer and was one of the original members of Brandermill Country Club, where she enthusiastically played both tennis and golf. She also delighted in playing bridge, designing arts and crafts, gardening, and spending time with friends.
She especially loved her seasons-winters in Naples, Florida, summers in Duck, North Carolina, where she found peace walking along the beach, collecting shells, and hosting family and friends.
A private service will be held for the family at The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jackie's memory may be made to Redeemer Episcopal Church, 2341 Winterfield Road, 23113. or C.A.R.E, Chesterfield Fire and EMS, P.O Box 40, Chesterfield Va. 23832.
