I was so sorry to hear about Jean. She was a very special lady. I worked with her at Tax. When she first came there, we shared a conference room until they remodeled to give everybody offices. I remember her singing all the time. We lost touch over the years after I left Tax but I'll always remember what a sweet, caring friend she was.

She was such a wonderful young pure kind spirit. She gave me so much compassion while I was grieving in my divorce and while I couldn't see my son, and believed in me when I didn't in myself. I will always remember her laugh and her smile. She was the closest to an angel I've ever met.

Jimmy and family:

I am so sorry to hear of Jean's passing. I did not even know she was sick again. I worked with her at Virginia Western Community College for several years, and remember when she was sick with breast cancer. You may not remember me, but I prepared a meal for you both when she first got out of the hospital. My thoughts and prayers are with your whole family, and may Jean be remembered for the wonderful, funny, and loving person that she was. Sincerely,

Kathy Arrington
