Billy was a Manchester classmate from first grade through graduation in 1960. He apparently remained a jokester all his life. The class of '60 will miss him at our future reunions. Sympathy to his family.

To Lelia Byer and Family
I learned on April 21st of Billy's passing. Our condolences and prayers are with you. Billy and I grew up together on Powell Rd. We had a lot of good times together in the neighborhood, skating at the Richmond arena, riding on his NSU motorbike and in his 50 Ford, double dating and attending church functions. Billy was always unpredictable and a lot of fun to be around. Since my middle name is Otis, Billy used to call me "Oatmeal."
May God richly bless you during these days of adjustment. Billy will always have a place in my heart. Carolyn, my wife, joins me in expressing our love and syympathy to each of you at this time.

Dear Shannon,
Hey there, it's Donalda - Its been a long while and I'm so happy to see that you have two little girls! That's wonderful! I hope your life is good. I'm so sorry to read that your dad passed away and I will be thinking about you in the days ahead. I remember every single part of us growing up together and I'll always remember how lucky I was to have a friend like you in my life during those years. Again, I'm sorry for your loss.
Love,
Donalda

I met Bill on Pal Talk with his beautiful singing! Then the pleasure of meeting him in person at a "Bash" in North Carolina. What a beautiful person he was! Always pulling jokes on someone. He was an outstanding singer and friend!
GOD BE WITH YOU BILL, WE WILL MEET AGAIN WHEN THE CLOUDS OPEN UP AND "THERE STANDS JESUS!" WE WILL SING TOGETHER MY FAVORITE, "LOVE YOU EVERY SECOND" A CHARLIE LANDSBOROUGH SONG.
