October 11, 1961 - May 19, 2025
John Andrew Elliott passed away peacefully in his Essex County home on May 19, 2025, at the age of 63. Over the years, John enjoyed working on cars, drag racing at Colonial Beach dragstrip, and his favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys.
John is survived by his daughter, Donna Sprouse (Ronnie) and his beloved granddaughter, Lauren, of King and Queen County. He leaves behind one brother, G. Larry Elliott, Jr. (Wendy) of Ashland; and three sisters, Frances Mitchell (Walter), Doris Coates, and Betty Hayes, all of King and Queen. John also leaves behind his special friend, Mildred Davis. John is preceded in death by his mother, Doris Elliott and father, Garnett Larry Elliott.
Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 23rd, at B.W. White Funeral Home, Aylett Chapel, located at 7837 Richmond Tappahannock Hwy., Aylett, Va. A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 24, at 11 a.m., at Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery, located at 3844 Poor House Lane, Bruington, Va.
