Please accept my sympathy on the loss of your mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. I was blessed to sing under her direction at The Baptist Tabernacle in Danville, Virginia. Such a Godly, gracious and classy lady.

Oh that sweet Kay Barr has been welcomed into the glory of her Savior! My family was in Calvary's congregation that was blessed by her direction of the choir, and it was during those years that she did something I will always cherish.
On the day that I had my cerebral hemorrhage, my mother, Linda Winstead came in from the grocery story to catch the phone call telling her to come to the hospital. I don't know how Kay ended up at our house, but I know that she put away the groceries and stayed with my little sister when she got home from school. I will always appreciate her care for our family on that day and all the years since.
Kay is a beautiful servant of the Lord and I bet when Mama and she met in Heaven, they probably thought about those groceries.
Bless you, Barr Family.
Yours in Christ,
Carolyn Winstead Bagley
