Robert Brewer Obituary

Robert Orrin Brewer, 80, of Richmond, Va. died on February 17, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Olivia Knight Brewer; his children, Gregory Orrin Brewer of Paoli, Pa., Diane Brewer Lese, Curtis Hamilton Brewer, and James Randolph Brewer, all of Richmond; 13 grandchildren; his brother, Richard Michael Brewer of Fairfax, Va.; and his sister. Lucille Brewer Pippin of Wendell, N.C. He was a graduate of Georgia Tech and served in the 64th Division of the Army in WWII. He was an engineer with Reynolds Aluminum of Richmond for 34 years. He served as a volunteer with the Boy Scouts, Troop 860, and Chippenham Hospital. He was a parishioner of St. Edward's Catholic Church. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 20 at 11 a.m. at the Dale Memorial Park, Chesterfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Grove Avenue Baptist Christian School, 8701 Ridge Road, Richmond, Virginia, 23229.
