She was employed by the Pittston Sunday Dispatch, Pittston, PA, and Potomac Physicians, Baltimore, MD, for many years before retirement. Sarellen was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Richmond, VA.
Sarellen's entire life was defined by her love of her Catholic faith, her family, and friends. She loved to laugh and recount fond memories of her and her siblings' childhood exploits growing up in the home above her grandfather James "Pop" McHale's pub in West Scranton. She was loved and admired by all who knew her, especially those who were lucky enough to feast on one of her home-cooked meals.
