Tuff it's been one year since your passing and I miss you every day. You were such a quiet wonderful brother and by far the most intelligent person I ever crossed paths with. I'm truly sorry for the way things ended for you but hope you realized how much I truly respected and loved you. Our life together with Mom was very special.

Tuff I will miss you more than anyone. Our life together was so special. Our basketball contest in the backyard, our trips to Las Vegas and our love and respect for each other will always be there. I was so lucky to have had you as my brother.

Vincent, it should be said, was a complete charmer. When others of us were terrified of asking a girl for a date (she might say no), he could call some select young lady at 7:00 on a Friday night and however indisposed she might be (in the shower?) out they would go. Later, he enjoyed providing good times for his friends- I still have a collection of Oktoberfest mugs obtained through Vince and Christa when tickets to that event could not be had otherwise.
Vince was quite a pioneer in our present computer age. I remember his job even in high school working for the Va. Department of highways pushing carts of IBM punch cards (remember those?) around a building downtown. Later, while at VEPCO, he had great responsibilities for testing the latest versions of IBM mainframes before that company released them generally- a remarkably stressful job at that time.
Finally, Vincent showed great wisdom in two of life's greatest choices- a spouse and a home. He had only to select one of each and they both appear to have been perfect and he enjoyed both for the rest of his life.
I won't be in Richmond for visitation- it is taking place as I write this but all my thoughts and good wishes are there with Christa and the rest of you present who will always miss Vincent as I shall. R.I.P. my old friend. Collier

Gary White is so right: When we were in school together Vince loved the challenge of long walks. In addition to our walk from Bottoms Bridge to Williamsburg (36 miles on a 5 degree day) when we were in grade 11, Vince and I decided to walk double that distance (76 miles) from the University of Virginia to Richmond. But by the time we got to Zion Crossroads (19 miles) a cold, steady rain had soaked us and we were forced to halt.
Vince was a dear friend -- the kind of friend you could always count on.

Did you know Vincent took long walks a few times? While at Highland Springs H.S. he once walked with Kurt Gayle from Sandston to Williamsburg. While at UVA, he and I walked from UVA to Monticello and back just because the weather was perfect and we took it as a challenge. As usual there was no bragging and no public reward.
I remember a perfect gentleman and serious son, father and worker.
